Wayne, PA - Ella Mae "Downes" Schussler, died peacefully on March 5, 2021 at the age of 94.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John and son Craig. She is survived by her loving son John and his wife Karen, sister-in-law Mary Jane Carlock, and many other caring family members.

Ella was born in Camden, NJ and spent most of her adult life in Hurffville, NJ. She lived her last 10 years with her son John and Karen in Wayne, PA. Ella made many friends with her warm smile and kind words, including those she met in her later years on her daily walks with her beloved dog, Davy Jones. Ella cherished all her friendships.

Due to Covid-19, we realize that some friends and family members will not be able to say their goodbyes in person. Instead, please take a few moments to remember Ella and say a prayer for her and all who loved her.

For those who would like to attend, there will be a small graveside service on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Cemetery, Washington Twp.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ella's memory may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 481 Delsea Drive, Sewell, NJ 08080.
