Punk Rock Musician. He son of romance novelist Danielle Steele, he was the singer of the San Francisco, California-based ska punk rock band "Link 80". Popular in the California punk scene, they broaded their appeal with two 1997 album releases "17 Reasons" and "Killing Katie"., In 1998 he had left Link 80 and formed a second band called "Knowledge", and recorded a demo with them. However, before they could release it he died of a drug overdose in September 1997. In 1998 his mother published "Bright Light", which detailed her son's battle with drugs and mental illness.
