In the spring of 1872, he came to the United States and located in Michigan. In October of the same year, he was united in marriage to Miss Augusta Gabrielson of Mandale, Norway.
In 1876 they moved to Seattle, Wash., and in 1879 they came to Idaho and located on a homestead near Blaine, where they have since resided.
Last Thursday morning Mr. Abrahamson suffered a stroke of paralysis, from which he never rallied.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Augustus Abrahamson; five daughters, Mrs. Louisa Erickson and Anna Nordstrom of Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. Selma Johnson of Tikova, [Tacoma] Wash.; Miss Julia Abrahamson of Moscow, and Mrs. Clarice Wardrop of Potlatch; and two sons, Thomas of Moscow and oscar of Ellensburg.
