Funeral service for Anthony Ray Moore, 56, of Henderson, Nevada will be at 3 PM, Friday March 26, 2021 at the New Hope Baptist Church of the Monticello Community of East Carroll Parish. Anthony Moore was born September 25, 1964 in Delhi Louisiana to Jackie Ray and Sylvia Anne Hampton Moore of Monticello, LA. Anthony passed away at his home in Henderson, Nevada rather suddenly on March 9, 2021. Rev. Francis Smith will be officiating. Visitation will be from 12 PM to 3 PM. Interment will be in the New Hope Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Anthony was raised in the Monticello Community and graduated from Monticello High School. Anthony retired from the United States Marine Corp with many honors.
Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Anne Hampton.
Anthony is survived by his father Jackie Ray Moore and his step mother Charie Moore of Monticello, LA.
