Michael Fuchs, of Greenwood, died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at his home. He was born September 15, 1983 at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Fuchs of Greenwood; parents, John and Anna Fuchs of Greenwood; brother and his wife, Justin and Lindsay Fuchs of Fort Smith; grandmother, Carolyn Fuchs of Fort Smith; a number of cousins, aunts and uncles and his two favorite dogs, Buddy and Toby.

Michael was a graduate of Greenwood High School and then attended the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith for two years. He also studied Automotive Service Technology at Kiamichi Technology center in Poteau, OK. He worked most recently with his brother at Fuchs Construction.

Michael had the biggest heart in the world and he never met a stranger. He was known to help people in any way he could, including sharing his home with a homeless man and helping him get back on his feet. His favorite past times were spending time with his wife and dogs, fishing with his buddies, working on anything mechanical, especially cars, and installing the best and loudest car stereos and speakers.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at The Loft in Greenwood. Services will be directed by McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Visitation with the family will be immediately following the service.
