Mr. White passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center. Born in Ashland, he was a graduate of Clay County High school in 1981. Danny lived most of his life in Clay County, before moving to Talladega where he lived and worked in construction, then for BC Taxi for the last 25 years. Danny loved hanging out with his friends, playing cards and shooting pool. He enjoyed driving the taxi and helping with AIDB to pick up people and take them where they needed to go; sometimes would even go shopping and would take it back to them. Danny loved Alabama football and anytime someone needed help, you could depend on him. He had a kind, caring, sweet soul with a happy go lucky attitude and a “it is what it is” outlook on life.
He is survived by his sister, Susan Forman (Jimmy Sellers) of Daviston, his nephew, Steven Baker of Lineville, two nieces: Shannon Baker Taylor of Talladega and Maranda Sellers of Daviston, his crew at BC Taxi, many friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his life partner, Tina Waldrup, his parents, Clyde and Margaret White, his brother, Roy White, his paternal grandparents, Fannie Culligan and Ezra White, and his maternal grandparents, Hart and Lois Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral expense.
After the graveside, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Talladega Creek Baptist Church to gather and share memories, 214 Maine Street, Talladega, AL 35160.
Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of the arrangements.
