Joe was born on April 22, 1944 in Lima, Ohio to the late Nicholas and Betty (Williams) Bowers. He married Sharon Bowers and she preceded him in death. He then married Robbie Bowers and she also preceded him in death. He then Evelyn Bowers and she survives in Lima. Also surviving are his children Nicholas Bowers, Joe Bowers and Melissa Bowers; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and his beloved uncle Tony Bowers. He was preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Lou Bowers and step-father Russ Williams.
Joe proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Findlay. He worked and retired at Teledyne Steel in Lima. Joe was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and also enjoyed watching NASCAR and listening to Bob Segar. Joe was a hard-working gentleman who loved his family dearly.
A Private Graveside Service will be held in the Clymer Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840.
