Saria/Sariah/Sarah "Sally" Cady; m. 16 Sep 1765 Putnam, CT; surviving 19 Sep 1827. It does appear she was on the 1830 census at Nathan's residence.

Church & Marriage recs: Sally's mother's death was reported at the time of Sally's bap., May 1764 at their church in Putnam. Abel & Sarah (Cady) Cady were both from Killingly and m. Oct 1861 at that very same church. Abel m2. 21 Feb 1765 to Elizabeth Russell of Brooklyn, CT (formerly Mortlake Manor). This is how Sally met Benj Wood.

Franklin County (MA) Wills and Probate Records, Files 6776-6815, Warwick dated 7 Feb 1827: "Benjamin Wood of Orange in said County, lately died." Sally declined to be the executrix, with the statement "Sally Wood, widow of the late Benjamin Wood, is eighty years of age... incapable..." Sally was requesting Amos Boyden of Orange, her son-in-law settle this estate. Sally returned 17 Sep 1827 petitioning for partial settlement. Sally was 80 at the first court date, and she was going to turn 81 in a couple of weeks.
