OBITUARY:
Edith Mullikin, 88, of Terre Haute died at 4:15 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2005, in Southwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was retired from the former Fitzgerald Bakery. She was born April 30, 1916, in West Terre Haute to Paul Akers and Eliza Reeves Akers. Her husband, Sterling Mullikin, died Aug. 9, 1984. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Marilyn Mullikin of Pimento; two daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Terry Mitchell, and Carol and Richard Corenflos Sr., all of Terre Haute; six grandsons, Dale Mullikin II, Trevor Mullikin, Richard Corenflos II, Christopher Corenflos, Jon Corenflos and Robert Long; three granddaughters, Kimberly Williams, Jennifer Mitchell and Andrea Hansens; great-grandchildren, Mikalya Corenflos, Layne Mahurin, Jessica Corenflos, Nicole Corenflos, Jacklynn Mullikin, Joshua Tyler, Tyler Corenflos, Brody Corenflos and Joshua Hansens II; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She also was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ethyl Akers, Eva Fisher, Mildred Akers, Mable Joslin, Elizabeth Walker and Fannie Dreher; and brothers, John Akers, Alvine Akers, Paul Akers and Fred Akers. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday in DeBaun Idaho Street Chapel, with Archie Brown officiating. Burial is in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. until services Tuesday.
