Donna Clark With profound sadness, Donna Joann Clark, age 74, passed away on March 8, 2021, at Mount Carmel East Hospital, after suffering a heart attack. Donna was born December 10th, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio. During the last few years of her life, she battled dementia, as well as other health issues and was a resident of The Oaks in Pataskala, Ohio. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Norman Clark in October of 2020. As Mom, she leaves behind: Kay (Richard) Hatcher, Jim (Cathy) Baker, Heath Baker, Mike Clark, Tiffany (Andrea) Clark-Wyatt. As ‘Mammie’, she leaves behind her beloved grand/great grandchildren: Ashley (Colin) Doherty, Andrea (Marcos) Hatcher and sons Roman and Matt, Chance Baker, Daniel and Jacob Clark, Kyle (Lucia) Boals, Drew (Alexis) Wyatt and son Greyson. As Sissy, she leaves behind her sisters: Jackie Dingess and Debbie Oliver. For years, the locals knew her as the friendly face at Henry’s “Country Carryout”, where she greeted everyone the same, with a smile and a reminder to ‘behave’. Before succumbing to dementia, she was quick to share her wisdom and advice, as well as stories about growing up, including sibling rivalries. Her laugh was contagious, and she had special nicknames for all those she cared about. She was quick to show affection to everyone, but her greatest love was her family. At the very end, she fought hard not to leave them behind, before being called home. There will be a combined ‘Celebration of Life’ Service, for Donna and Norman, on March 20th; with Family Viewing at 9:30 am, Visiting Hours from 10:00 to 11:00 am and Service from 11:00 to Noon. Location: The Ohio Cremation & Memorial Society: 5464 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43214.
