Patricia Saik Mize, 59, of Canton, died Monday, May 21, 2007, in Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Services were held Wednesday, May 23, at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland and burial followed in Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Mize was a native of Jackson and graduated from Saint Joseph High School in 1965 and from Hinds Community College in 1974.
She was a nurse for 30 years until her retirement from St. Catherine's Village in 2004.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Mize of Canton; sons, Steve Summers of Magee and Sean Summers of Madison; stepdaughter, Lisa Cowart of Jackson; brothers, Mike Saik of Ridgeland and Albert Saik of Madison; sister, Nafie Jane Hudspeth of Clinton; two grandchildren; one step-grandson; and six nieces and nephews.
