"W. H. BARKLEY
EDEN ━ William H. Barkley, 56, Negro, died Monday in his home here following a brief illness.
A native of Eden, he was the son of the late Caesar and Charlotte Noble Barkley.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pearl Barkley of Eden; four sisters, Mrs. Dollie Turner of Crisfield. Mrs. Margaret Wainwright of White Haven and Mrs. Anna Reid and Mrs. Priscilla Cornish both of Eden; and a brother, Glenwood Barkley of Crisfield.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Flower Hill Methodist Church, here. The Rev. Clarence E. Handy, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the Flower Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Clinton F. Stewart Funeral Home tomorrow night from 7 to 9 and at the church Friday from 12 to 2, prior to the service."
