(This post by Emily Salazar) Phillip was my cousin on my father's side of the family. His mother Guadalupe, Aunt Lupe, was my father's sister. I had no brothers, but Phillip & his brothers are like brothers to me. -- FROM PHILLIP'S OBITUARY: Phillip graduated from Reagan High School in Houston, Texas. He was married to Juanita Medina until her death in 2002. He is survived by children Pati & Michael. He is survived by grandchildren Andrew, Aaron, Vanessa, Adam, Julia, Ricky, Tomas, Illiana, Jacob, Charles & their spouses, as well as 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, his brother Arthur, nieces Tammy & Kelly, & cousin Emily. He is preceded in death by his children Jacki, Charles, & Richard, his brother Ernest, & his parents. A commital service was held by the U.S .Air Force at Houston National Cemetery.
