A memorial service for Bill Brown, 92, of Cyril, Oklahoma will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the Cyril United Methodist Church.
Mr. Brown passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 92.
Billy Roy Brown was born October 20, 1928 in Marlow, Oklahoma to Len (Doc) and Rhoda (Hood) Brown. He married Peggy Constant on July 30, 1945 and the two were married for 67 years when she passed away in 2013. Bill worked for APCO Refinery in Cyril for over 30 years until he retired in 1984. He enjoyed raising cattle, playing cards, square dancing, and going to his grandchildren’s ball games.
Bill is survived by 2 daughters: Shirley Liles, of Cyril and Connie Moser and her husband Ronny, of Noblesville, IN; 1 son, Mike Brown and his wife Cathy, of Marshfield, MO; special niece, Michelle Wein and her husband Paul, of Tulsa; special nephew, Kent Gibson, of Cyril; 8 grandchildren: Nela Edwards and her husband Jimmy, Justin Brown, Cari Baker and her husband Marcus, Drew Moser and his wife Bekah, Travis Moser and his wife Annette, Christi Epperson, Stephanie Turpin and her husband Allen, and Koby Gibson and his wife Ashley; and 23 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Brown; special niece, JoAnn Gibson; parents: Len and Rhoda Brown; son in law, James Liles; sister, Gladys Wyatt; his brother, Ray Brown; and great granddaughter, Journey Baker.
