Debra Ann Cooper, 64, of Quincy, IL, passed away at 9:12 pm Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

A Funeral Ceremony will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home in Quincy. Pastor Chris Lefever will officiate. Burial will follow at Payson New Cemetery in Payson, IL.

Friends and Family are invited to Debra's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home in Quincy, IL.

Debra was born November 25, 1956, in Quincy, IL to Ronald and Shirley Ann (Hultz) Carder.

She was married to Bob Cooper on April 23, 1983 at Akers Chapel in Plainville, IL. He survives.

In addition to her husband, other survivors include four children, Miracle Morrow (Nicholas) of Quincy, IL, Josh Cooper (Patricia) of Payson, IL, Erik Cooper of Quincy, IL, and Justin Cooper (fiancée Misty Smith) of Quincy, IL; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Kevin Carder of Quincy, IL; one sister, Leanne Hultz of Quincy, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Michael Carder; and her grandmother, Mary T. Rose.

Debra was a unit clerk at St. Mary Hospital for 10 years and was later a ward clerk at Blessing Hospital. She was most recently a cashier at Save-A-Lot for six years.

Debra enjoyed painting ceramic figurines and sitting out on her porch in her free time. Reading Dean Koontz and Stephen King novels, watching scary movies, and making fried chicken for her family were a few of her other favorite things. Above all, Debra received the most fulfillment from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Debra was Catholic by faith.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Travis Cooper, Richie Cooper, Steve Rice, Levi Hills, Michael Carder Jr., and Kevin Carder Jr..
