Christopher Michael Callahan, 40, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2021. He was born on September 6th, 1980 in Bozeman, Montana to Dr. Patrick J. Callahan and Teresa C. (DeLima) Callahan. Chris graduated from Logan High School in 1999 and was employed in the hospitality industry at several establishments in the area. Chris enjoyed international travel including his mother’s native Brazil, China, the Caribbean, and Mexico. He especially enjoyed Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, and Ixtapa Mexico. As a fluent speaker, he embraced the local culture and spirit of the oceanside communities.

Christopher leaves behind his fiancé Chastity Gordon and her children Courtney, Carter, Callan and Caylee, his mother Teresa Callahan and brothers Kevin (Amy) Callahan of La Crosse, Brian (Kelley) Callahan of Stephens City, Virginia and Sean Callahan of Short Pump, Virginia. Christopher has many cousins including Itana (Ryan) Pomerening of Monona, Iowa, Claudia Oliveira of Madison, Wisconsin and family in the states of Sao Paulo and Bahia, Brazil. He was an amazing uncle to two nieces Lauren Callahan and Bailey Callahan and a nephew, Michael Callahan. He was preceded in death by his father Patrick. Everyone will miss his wonderful humor, jovial nature and generosity. The family is so very thankful for the outpouring of responses from his many friends during this difficult time.

The family will be holding a private interment ceremony at La Crosse Catholic ceremony.
