Yo - Yo

We laughed and cried, feuded and fought
A love undisputed, is what we all got.
You showed us so much, that cannot be bought
The love that you gave us, is our “Solid Rock”
Your labor is over, your now off the clock
No more pain Driver, we take up your watch
Go on in peace, stretch your wings out
Turn on the Jakes, stretch that sound out
Rumble the Heavens, We’ll rumble the ground
Tell Jesus we’re coming, till then drive Grandpa around
We will miss you for now, of that there’s no doubt
You brought us in the world, we carried you out
We’ll tell the next one, give Joe T. a shout
Let the Jakes scream up there, we’ll scream them down here
Keep that rig strolling, till next time from down here

Love You Dad,

James Todd Thompson
