David Mobley
KANKAKEE — David Mobley, 62, of Kankakee, passed away February 26, 2021, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
David Mobley was born on March 14, 1958 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Iola Pitchford Mobley. In 1978 David was employed as a Social Worker in Chicago. David moved to Kankakee, IL in 1982. He loved to make people laugh he also liked to dance, listen to music and drink with the fellows.
David was preceded in death by his daughter Darlesha Mobley, his father Joseph, Sr., brothers Joseph, Jr. and Bernard Mobley and sisters Marilyn, Catherine and Patricia Mobley.
David departed this life on Friday, February 26, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Iola Mobley of Kankakee, IL; his children David LaFonte Ray of TN, Shamatamara Allen of Milwaukee, WI, David Hall of Milwaukee, WI and MayKayla Keizer of Dekalb, IL; his siblings, Diane Trull, Debra Mobley, Juanita Mobley, Myron Mobley all of Milwaukee, WI, Darlene Mobley, Mary Mobley and Leonard (Thomasina) Mobley of Kankakee, IL; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; his uncle Curtis (Rosemary) Porter of Kankakee, IL and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 9 a.m. Friday, March 12, until the 11 a.m. funeral services at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Kankakee.
Pastor Moses Collins will officiate.
Interment will be in Mound Grove Gardens of Memory, Kankakee.
