Josephine Ivey, 93, of Sieper died Wednesday, Oct 2, 2003 in Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA.
She was a lifelong member of Dixie Baptist Church, Sieper, a member of the Sieper Widow's Club and the Sieper Senior Citizen Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Cornelia Monk, husband, Joe H. Ivey, daughter Peggy Hillman, and son Paul G. Ivey.
She is survived by sons J.H. (Gladys) Ivey, Charles (Betty) Ivey, Donlyn (Yvonne) Ivey and Willie (Tana) Ivey; daughters Laverne (Chester) Estes, Louise (John) Hickman, Myrtle Lee (Wayne) Chandler, Linda (Lester) Duthile, and Sue (Mike) Mason; 34 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Bobby Ivey, Randy Ivey, Harvey Wood, Scott Welch, Alfred Chandler, David Ivey, T.J. Ivey and Heath Ivey.
