RUBY'S OBITUARY
Ruby Jean Cox, the daughter of Ralph and Elsie (Koller) Cox, was born September 3, 1946, in Shannon County, Missouri. She passed away on March 9, 2021 in West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 74.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Elsie Cox; and three siblings, Beulah Whaley, Kenneth Cox and Martha White. She was also the youngest grandchild, of Adolph and Mattie Fleming Koller.
Ruby is survived by her nephew and his wife, Kevin and Victoria White; great niece, Kristen White and great nephew, Nicholas White.
Ruby grew up in Summersville and graduated from Summersville High School in 1964 and from Ruby Seidel’s Beauty College in 1966. She was employed by AT&T for 32 years, St. Louis County Law Library for 27 years and Laclede Groves Nursing facility for 14 years. She was also a dance instructor for Arthur Murray Dance Studios. In her words, when she became “bored” she took cake decorating and other classes. After retiring she moved back to the country and had most recently lived in Mtn. View.
Ruby loved pets, people, art, puzzles, reading and country music. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
