Mary “Eren” Daugherty, 62, passed peacefully in her home, embraced by her family, after a hard fought battle with cancer.
She was born in Plattsburgh, NY, on December 16, 1958, the daughter of JoAnn and Robert Carroll.
Eren will be remembered for her immense love for her home, art and her family. Eren did everything with a passion and drive, a force like no other. She inspired others to dream big, fight hard and never give up. She created art with a single touch and marched to the beat of her own heart. Her creativity, immeasurable talent and attention to detail will live on in those that have been touched by her gift.
She is survived by her husband and love of her life of over 37 years, Kevin, her children, Brennan, Elliot and Hayden. Surviving as well, her sisters, Colleen and her husband Jerry Maggy, Julie and her husband Thomas Murnane, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Michael Carroll and several aunts and uncles.
There will be no public calling hours or services; the family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
