Marshall Webb Howell, born to Ethel Jones Howell and Hudie Howell on December 13, 1943, in Redan, Georgia. He graduated Lithonia High School in 1961. He followed in his daddy's footsteps and became an independent contractor (the best) and painted houses for more than 50 years. He met a beautiful young girl, Linda June Kimball, from Twin City, Georgia while cruising the streets of Atlanta in 1964. They married on March 13, 1965 in Garfield, Georgia. Together they built a wonderful life and an amazing family. They've lived together and raised their family in the same house for almost 49 years. The house that he built with his own hands. Marshall was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Lithonia and until recent years an active member of the Stockbridge Masonic Lodge 691.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother in 1988 and his daddy in 2006. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Brenda Faye Howell Brooks in September 2020 and most recently his older sister, Barbara Jean Howell Green, in February 2021. Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Jeff, Crystal and James, and Suzanne. His pride and joy were his grandchildren, Ross (Main Man) and Cameron (Mun) Kelly. Joseph (JJ) and Ethan (Tunch) Sutherland. Reid (Short-legged friend), Alayna (Baby Girl), and Eli Marshall (the only two Marshalls in the room) Parks. Great-grandchildren, Grant, Beau, Kennedy, and Morgan Kelly. Also surviving their older brother are his three remaining siblings. Leon Howell (Becky), Theresa Roach (Marc) and Cindy (Jeff) Simmons. He was also loved and respected by his brothers-in-law, Jerry Green, Bobby Kimball and Luke (Libby) Kimball and cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, of which he had many.
