Jim truly enjoyed time with his family and worked hard to provide a great life for his wife and children. He worked as an electrical foreman. He loved his job and the people he worked with. He was known to call friends and family during his work commute always wanting to know how everyone was doing and what the latest news was. He was also known to help everyone. He was always helping friends, and neighbors young and old. It was not unusual to see neighborhood children coming by his house for help to fix a bike or a flat tire. He would drop whatever he was doing to help them. Jim was an amazing mechanic and electrician. Skills he learned from his father Jim. He enjoyed building and working, side by side with his children on VW’s, dune buggies, motorbikes and basically anything that had a motor or engine. He loved teaching them how to rebuild a car, as well as change a tire. He was an excellent example of a hard worker and instilled this work ethic in his children. Jim was a supportive father to his children. He attended many sporting, racing and dance events. He completed many motorcycle and camping trips with friends and family. Jim loved the out of doors and was an avid hunter and hunting guide. Jim was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in several callings including, Sunday school president, Sunday school presidency member, Sunday school teacher, and a home teacher. He will be remembered for his mischievous sense of humor, his smile, and his adventurous and kind spirit.
