Dale Gene Scott, 57, of Hillsboro, Kansas and formerly of Galva, passed away at 4:22 a.m., Saturday, February 27th, 2021 peacefully, at Salem Home.
Dale was born in McPherson, Kansas on August 22, 1963, a son of Frankie Mae (Ballweg) and James Dean Scott.
Dale attended Galva Elementary School, Galva Junior High and graduated from Canton Galva High School, Canton, Kansas in 1982.
He was a member of Galva Christian Church Galva, Kansas.
Through the years Dale worked for Kit Manufacturing in McPherson, the Hop Shop in Galva, Kansas and was a 911 dispatcher for McPherson County.
Dale enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards, football, basketball, track, baseball, gardening especially Tomato's woodworking, fireworks, drinking his Pepsi, of course his KU and KC Chiefs teams and his love for his children, grandkids and family.
He is survived by his children, Natasha Wood and husband Cameron, of Galva, Kansas, Brianna Siliva and husband Nea, of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and Brody Scott, of Wichita, Kansas; his brothers, Gregg Scott, of Galva, Kansas and his twin, Dean Scott, of Galva, Kansas; his brother-in-law, Larry Thiessen, of Galva, Kansas; his seven grandchildren, Breya, Peyton, Landon, Kolt, Noah, Harper, and Ellanore; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, James and Frankie Scott; his sister, Connie Thiessen; his sister-in-law, Rhonda Scott; and Karla Scott.
Memorial service will be held at Glidden - Ediger Chapel, McPherson, Kansas, at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5th, 2021 with Reverend Tripp Edwards officiating.
Burial will be in the McPherson Cemetery McPherson, Kansas.
