Donald, 85, Coldwater, died at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

He was the son of Charles and Mary (Buschur) May. On Jun 13, 1959, in St. Anthony, he married Dolores F. Broeker, who preceded him in death.

Surviving are five children: Sandra Grimm, Franklin, Charles (Carol) May, St. Henry, Patrick (Kathy) May, Coldwater, Pamela (Gerard) Dorsten, Celina and Carl (Kathy) May, Coldwater; siblings and in-laws: Kenneth (Karen) May, Ft. Wayne, William (Beth) May, St. Marys, Robert (Nancy) May and Ray (Donna) May, both Celina, Marty (Mike) Krieg, Shirley May, Patricia Broeker and Mary Jo Broeker, all Coldwater, Mary Ann (Cyril) Droesch, St. Henry, and Leroy (Carolyn) Broeker, Coldwater; and twelve grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a daughter, a brother and a sister, all linked below; and a great-grandchild, Kalip Grimm.

A veteran of the US Marine Corp, he was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and the Coldwater Eagles. He worked at the former New Idea Plant, Coldwater.

A Funeral Mass following all CDC guidelines will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater with live stream at https://www.coldwatercluster.org/information/watch-mass-online. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
