A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 18th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, with Larry Cox officiating.
Linda was born March 20, 1951 in Seminole, TX to Ben and Flossie (Jerden) White, and after her father's passing, she was blessed to welcome Lawrence Wicks as her new father, until his passing. Linda had many career changes from driving a dump truck, to secretary, to building wire harnesses for Boeing Aircraft. She spent a lot of time in the medical field as a CNA and phlebotomist to retiring as a medical transcriptionist. After retirement she occupied her time with quilting, sewing retreats, and taking care of one of her greatest loves... her dog Kola. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She will always be remembered by her unique grandparent name of Deedoe.
She is preceded in death by her father Ben White, stepfather Lawrence Wicks, and husband Jr. Terry.
Linda is survived by her daughter Jamie K. Davis; mother Flossie Wicks; grandchildren Shelby Davis, Lane Davis, Raife Davis, Jessup Davis, and Levi McClanahan; great-grandchildren Jett and Jax Meadors, all of Bowie; sister Kara Williams of Providence Village, TX; and nephew Mike Williams of Savannah, TX.
Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie, TX.
