On March 8, 2021, the angels took Ricky D. Allen to his heavenly home.
Ricky was born May 15, 1957 to Cecil and Emmie Allen. He served in the United States Air Force from 1980-2002. He was a Peaceful time and Gulf War Era Veteran. Following his retirement from the service he continued working as a Plants Operation Manager and had his own business Allen’s Handyman service. Ricky also served as president of Christmas in Action for over 35 years and volunteered at his home church Evangel Temple helping build the Phased In project.
Ricky was preceded in death by both of his parents, bothers Lee Clyde and Steve Allen and sisters Lorane Morgan and Cathy Sellers.
He is survived by his wife Ronica Allen of 35 years and his dog Angel, daughter Kyla Morgan and husband Tyrone Morgan, son Michael C. Prayor. Grandchildren Matthew Feliciano, Bryanna Prayor, Jose Prayor, Michael S.Prayor, Haylee Felicanao, Chloe Prayor, Tyrone Morgan JR, Neveah Prayor, Kobe Prayor, London Prayor and Great grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Oliver and Adelyn.
Also survived by his sisters Ruthy Rushin, Bonnie Voyles, Jennette Barker, Alma Shugart, Martha Martin, brother Dee Allen and many nieces and nephews.
Ricky will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He will be laid to rest in Aspermont Texas. A memorial will be set at a later time.
