He graduated from Bremen High School in 1961. John worked for the Street Department in Mt. Vernon, IN. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed fishing.
John is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lynda; daughters, Trudy Konrath (Tim) and Penny Morris (Bernard); 16 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Pearl; brothers, Robert Anderson, James Anderson, Charles Anderson, infant brother, Carl R. Anderson; and sister, Betty Welter.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Stillwell Cemetery, New Harmony, IN with Michael Konrath officiating.
