WELLS, Frank H., 79, passed away September 29, 2012. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Jean LaVern Cobbs Wells.

He is survived by two sons, Bruce C. Wells and W. Dean Wells; one daughter, Sherry L. Wells; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the Auxiliary Police of Chesterfield County in his late 20s. He had a passion for hunting and belonged to the Blue Ridge Bear and Coon Hunt Club. He was the owner of Frank H. Wells Tile and Floor Covering Company for 60 years.

The family will be holding a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3541 Cogbill Rd., North Chesterfield, Va. The family would like to invite anyone who knew Mr. Wells to attend at that time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
