Born on November 6, 1941 in Dunn NC, she was the daughter of the late Riley Warren Vann and Gladys Lee Vann. Miss Vann was a graduate of East Carolina University, a former Lieutenant in the U. S. Air Force Nursing Corps and a Retired Registered Nurse, working at Hospitals in Texas.
Survivors include her sister: Nola V. Woldseth of St. Petersburg FL and three nephews: George P. Woldseth (Linda) of Seminole FL, James R. Woldseth of St. Petersburg FL and David A. Woldseth of Madison WI and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Miss Vann was preceded in death by a brother: Larry D. Vann.
A Celebration of Miss Brenda Vann's life will be held at a later date this year by her family. Miss Vann's ashes will be interred at the Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge GA.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
