Mary "Blondie" Sharp was born August 6, 1948 to Howard Buckner and Grace Long.
She married Hubert Sharp and had three daughters Judy Sharp, Janie Peralta, and Janet Sharp: seven grandkids, nineteen great grandkids and one great-great granddaughter.
Other survivors include her twin sister Barbara "Blackie", sisters Charlene, Liquita, Doris, and Roberta; her brothers Leon, Butch, Ray, Robert, and Lee. Later in life she met David Smith who has been by her side for 30 years!
She also had a very special friend whom she loved very much Wes Wishard who preceded her in death.
Mary was a strong-willed person with a very generous heart. To know her was to love her. Mom we will always love you and we will see you in heaven.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Ballard Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, March 19, 2021 at South Park Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Matt Matta, Matt Matta Jr., Brock Starns, Angalee Matta, Toni Peralta, and Azaret Alcantar.
Honorary pallbearers will be all of Mary's grandchildren.
