Kathleen M. (Perkins) Carroll, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2021.
Born and raised in Albany, she attended Cathedral Academy, Cardinal McCloskey and Albany Business College. Kathleen was predeceased by her parents Harold J. Perkins and Thomasine (Spagnolo) Perkins and her brother Joseph Perkins.
Kathleen was a veteran of the US Army (1976-1979) and the New York State National Guard RAOC (1979-1987). She was employed by the New York State Education Dept. and the New York State Dept. of Health until her retirement in 2017.
Kathleen was devoted to her husband Richard James Carroll and they enjoyed travel, trivia and time together. They were married for 32 years until his passing in 2020.
She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Albany.
Kathleen is survived by her sister and protector Mary (Joseph) Davis, her brother Michael (Dixie) Perkins, 3 step-children: Michael (Joanne) Carroll, Dianne Gagnon and Darlene Carroll; 6 grandchildren: Danedra Gagnon, Tammy Conklin, Jennetta (Joseph) Lorman, William (Layla) Stubblebine, Jordan Carroll and Dairean Carroll; and 4 great-grandchildren Austin Conklin, Chase Lorman, Lillian Lorman and Mia Stubblebine; her beloved nephews Nicholas (Amber) Davis, Greg (Meghan) Davis and Anthony (Cecy) Perkins, many cousins and sister Donna Brown.
Inurnment will take place in Graceland Cemetery in Albany.
