The Lord took Michael McCombs home on Sunday, March 7, 2021, after a long battle with illness. He retired from Jeep in 2002 after working 30 years as a mechanic. He loved his wife and family greatly. His nicknames were “Motorhead Mike” and “Pokie”. He loved working on old cars and fishing.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barb McCombs; children, Tim (Jen) McCombs, Tina Keiser, Todd (Bethney) McCombs; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Kay (Tom) Ellis. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Glenna McCombs.

Friends will be received on Friday, March 12, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, OH. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Athens Baptist Church in Walbridge.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Athens Baptist Church, 101 Breckman St., Walbridge, OH 43465, or help support DaVita Dialysis through the American Kidney Fund, www.kidneyfund.org.
