Travis Roger Berry, 67, 11858 Oakridge Ct., died Sunday, April 2, 1978, at the McPherson Community Health Center, following a lengthy illness. He was born Oct. 22, 1910 in Harrisburg, Ill., the son of Charles E. and Pearl I. (Davis) Berry.
He was married to Cecelia M. Remus in Detroit Nov 12, 1931.
The Berrys had lived in the county for the past 14 years, moving here from Detroit. He was retired from the sales department of Sears, Roebuck and Co.
He is survived by his widow, Cecelia; two sons, Robert and Ronald, both of Pinckney, and five grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 6, at the Swarthout Chapel of the Lamb Funeral Home, with the Rev. John O' Dell officiating.
Burial was in Acacia Park Cemetery.
