Elsie is survived by her husband, Herbert Focken of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; her children, Marsha Hill of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Vickie Eubanks of Enid, Oklahoma, Lonny Hood of Enid, Oklahoma, Mikel Melda and husband Jimmie of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Michelle Repp of Wagoner, Oklahoma; eighteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her sister-in-law, Pope Kingsley of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred W. and Pearl Jane Kingsley; two sons, Jack “George” Hood and Ronny Hood; four brothers, Frank Kingsley, Charles Kingsley, Carl “Moon” Kingsley, and Big Boy Kingsley; two sisters, Mildred Lyle and Bessie Kingsley; and one grandson, Russell Curtis.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 11, 2021at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma with the family present to receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Services celebrating Elsie’s life will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Abiding Harvest United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Pastor Chris Buskirk officiating. Elsie will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma. Pallbearers are Nicholas Eubanks, Philip Wilson, Jeremiah Wilson, Carter Repp, Corbin Repp, and Cayden Repp.
