Henry Brunhoff Dunn of Cary passed away peacefully after a sudden illness at the age of 73 at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. He was the loving son and brother of the late William and Adele Dunn of Raleigh and William (Billy) Dunn, lll of Lumberton. He lived most of his life in Raleigh, Apex and Cary.

He retired after many years in advertising with The Yellow Pages and with Fire House Casual Living in Raleigh.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Frances Stalvey Dunn; son, Hank Dunn, Jr.(wife Ada); granddaughter, Christin; daughter, Debbie Bush (and husband, Michael Bush); and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Wray and Signa Stalvey of Wilmington, NC.

Henry will “ALWAYS” be best remembered for his zest for life, family history, his love for UNC, family trips to Emerald Isle and his witty but dry sense of humor that would make everyone smile.

In celebration of his life the family will receive friends Monday, August 17th from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Brown Wynne Funeral Home on Maynard Road in Cary. Immediately following the visitation and reception a memorial graveside service will be at Raleigh Memorial Park.

In his memory the family requests that donations be made to Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh.
