Eunice was a devoted mother, loving wife and community leader. She was a member of Northeastern Presbyterian Church, Washington D.C. Eunice was also a member of the Mennonite Heart to Heart fellowship, helping to send inner-city kids to Black Rock Christian Retreat in the beautiful mountains of Lancaster PA.
In addition to her parents, Eunice was predeceased by her loving husband of 34 years, Hosea H. Young; her siblings, Jesse A. Manley, John R. Manley, Horace I. Manley, Katie M.Gay and Beulah Mae M. Chambers. She is survived by her children, Faith Y. Lucas, Don J. Young, companion-Mahea Pedro, John A. Young, daughter in-law Sheila P. Young, Linda Y. Artope, Avrell I. Young, Jennifer Y Sheppard, son in-law Zolten Dukes; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
The family gives thanks to nieces, nephews, friends, caregivers and the staff at Hanover Health and Rehab.
