Duane Edward Doyle, Jr., better known as J.R., resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 37. J.R. was born in Wynne, Arkansas on June 11, 1983, the son of Duane Doyle, Sr. and Denise (Watson) Doyle.
J.R. was a 2001 graduate of Harrisburg High School and earned his Associate’s degree from Arkansas State University Newport. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed anything involving technology and playing video games.
J.R. was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack J.R. Doyle.
He is survived by his parents, Duane and Denise Doyle of Jonesboro; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Davis of Cherry Valley; maternal grandparents, Edward and Beatrice Watson; two brothers, Michael Doyle and wife, Amber, of Bay, and Jon Christopher Doyle and wife, Kellye, of Jonesboro; nieces and nephews, Noah, Olivia, Gwen, and Ganon Doyle; and a host of other relatives and friends.
