LIBERTY, SC - Jerry Lee Redding, 64, of 177 Denmark Drive, died Sunday, January 4, 2004, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late George Washington and Hattie Mae Lanning Redding, and was the widower of Donna Louise Snipes Redding.

He was a former employee of Monaghan Mill and was a member of Cedar Lane Baptist Church in Greenville.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Robin Girardeau and Darrell Girardeau; daughter, Becky Redding; sons, Tommy and George Redding; sister, Ruth Belt; brother, Duff Redding; and a grandson, "Little Jerry" Dacus Girardeau.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the mortuary.
