Pamela Jo Schroeder, “Pam”, age 67, earned her wings March 5, 2021 at Methodist Hospital Willowbrook. Her husband Mike and son Rick were with her when she made the transition from earth to glory.  She fought hard against Covid, and God healed her with his love and mercy with His ultimate healing in Heaven.

She was born on May 10, 1954 in Houston. She married Mike Schroeder on September 29, 1990.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years Mike Schroeder, Son Ricky Herndon and daughter-in-law Audrey Herndon. Grand children Gabrielle Ocanas, Theron Herndon and Charlize Herndon. Sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Blanchard Bedsole. Niece Rhonda Bedsole, nephew Gregory Bedsole. Sister-in-law, brother-in-law and nieces Christie Schroeder, Frank Schroeder, Caroline Schroeder and Sophie Schroeder. Along with many, many cousins and amazing friends.

She attended Bethany Lutheran School grades one through eight.  She graduated from West Orange Stark High School in Orange, Texas.   She began a long and successful career in the furniture business by having her own furniture store, Herndon’s Sofa Shop, in Beaumont.  She continued her successful 30+ year career this industry by working for Finger Furniture, Levitz, and The Roomstore.  In 2010 she and Mike purchased RE/MAX Preferred Homes and she worked side by side with Mike to operate this business and even expanded to their second office in Brenham. They are blessed with many amazing agents at their offices that are family to Pam. She loves them ALL.

Pam was a dedicated mother, wife, grandmother, and friend first and foremost.  She loved people.  Many people were blessed by her natural knack of decorating. Pam has a servant’s heart which naturally guided her to help anyone that needed it. She was blessed in that God gave her the ability to help people. When she knew someone had a need she was right there coming up with ways to help them. This created many of her clients that also became her friends.

Pam was proceeded in death by her parents Roy and Annette Schimming, Aunts Onita Deas and Kay Pavlock and Uncle Jerry Stepp.

Pallbearers will be Frank Schroeder, Ross Schroeder, Tim Halloran, Bill Brewer, Keith Ward, Gregory Bedsole and Rick Wilson.

A Celebration of Life with lunch and beverages will be at Pam and Mike's Brenham home at 503 Crockett after the committal service.
