Kenneth Ray Boykin Jr was born on April 29, 1997 to Kenneth Ray Boykin Sr and Lashawna Denise Boykin in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was affectionately called “KJ”. As a child KJ attended Jo Mackey Academy of Leadership and Global Communication. He attended Escobedo Middle School, and successfully graduated from Legacy High School. He was adored and loved by his parents, his son, grandparents, siblings, family and friends. His ambition was to obtain licensure as a master barber. His characteristics include his love for life, his sensitivity, and his willingness to support others. Our hearts will always be full of wonderful memories and love. He leaves precious memories for all his loved ones.

He is survived by his father Kenneth Boykin Sr; mother LaShawna Boykin; son Kaiden Boykin; brother Kendall Boykin; sister Kelsey Boykin; grandparents Lee Ella Edmond, Brooklyn Wilridge, Joyce Wilridge, and Bernice Boykin; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Ed Edmond Jr and General Boykin, along with his great-grandparents. KJ shared a special bond with Ashley Matthews, Donnedia Edmond, Rajul Edmond, Kaelee Edmond, Kevon Smith, and Kindrea Poole.
