Tommy was born August 28, 1953 in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest March 5, 2021 in Doyline, Louisiana. He was a member of First Baptist Church Doyline where he served as a Sunday School teacher and a deacon. He loved his church and his church family. Tommy worked tirelessly on missionary work locally and Nicaragua, Guatemala. He was an avid gardener and loved sharing his produce. Tommy enjoyed fishing and hunting and was full of football knowledge. He loved his Frannie, kids, and grandkids unconditionally and enjoyed making memories each year by going camping. He was always willing to lend a helping hand no matter how big or small the task. He was the man for the job. Tommy will always be remembered as you entered Doyline for the “Welcome to Doyline” monument he built for the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice Harris and brother, Billy Harris.
He is survived by his wife, Francey Harris; children, Brad Harris, Sarah Harris, Colby Harris and Brittany, Hannah Arizmendez and Johnathon, Hope Monk and Cory, and Laura Smith and Brad; grandchildren, Julia Harris, Emmett Arizmendez, Isabel Valenzuela, Ivy Monk, Hampton Harris, Farrah Monk, C.T. Harris, Emerson Arizmendez, John Monk, Hank Harris, Heath, Monk, and Everett Arizmendez; six brothers and sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family.
Pallbearers will be Shane Harris, Terry Harris, Phillip Harris, Josh Powell, Cory Monk, and Roger Brown.
