Jody A. Sanders, 68, of Bryan, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Hillside Country Living, Bryan. Jody was born September 24, 1952 in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lowell and Doris (Fleming) Mock. She recently worked as a home health aide for Cris Home Care and previously worked at Ohio Art Company and the Ohio Turnpike. Jody also worked many years in food service. She was hard working and always provided for her family. In her free time, Jody enjoyed trips to Cedar Point and crocheting.

Surviving are her three children, Shane (Nancy Stitt) Slattman of Madison, Ohio, Dawn Slattman of Stow, Ohio, and John (Tammy Reger) Slattman of Pioneer, Ohio; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Shelee (Ron) Brown of Bryan, Ohio; brother, Jeff (Debra) Mock of Bryan, Ohio. Jody was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kim Mock.

Visitation for Jody A. Sanders will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 noon with celebrant Patricia Peter. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton. Those attending services are required to wear facial masks and observe social distancing. Due to the ongoing pandemic, there will be limited capacity at the funeral home, and those attending visitation are asked to keep their visits brief.

The family asks those remembering Jody to make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
