"Ann C. Norman, 67, of Duluth, Minn. died Monday, July 11, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital.

She was born Jan. 26, 1949 in Duluth to Robert and Marion Norman.

A lifelong resident of Duluth, Ann attended East High School and graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Most of Ann's working years as a medical social worker were at the Bayshore Nursing Home. It was there that the residents saw the gentle, kind and generous person that her family and friends knew well.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her soulmate and partner of 38 years, Michael Terhaar, his daughter Angie (Jason) Heaslip and their children Leora, Nathaniel, Andrew, Eliese, Brielle, Neriah and Asher; her sister Kathy (Don) Roberts of Mesa, Ariz.; and her special nephew Steve Salmi of Missoula, Mont. and his daughter Olivia Salmi.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 24 at the Blue Max, 6139 Lavaque Road, Duluth.
