David was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School. He retired after many years of dedicated service from Alcoa Machine Shop in Louisville, Kentucky. He enjoyed woodworking, RC airplanes, motorcycles and loved spending time with his family.
David is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Ester (Clark) Cunningham; his children, David W. Cunningham Jr.,of Florida, Donald Lee Cunningham of New Albany, Indiana, Malinda Cooper of Clarksville, Indiana, Timothy Cunningham of Charlestown, Indiana; sisters, Sharon Hurst (Ed), Jacquelyn Grimes; along with eight grandchildren.
There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm with service to follow at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
