Miranda Ragan Sanders was set free from her pain and suffering March 16, 2020.
Her God given gift was her ability to greet a complete stranger & touch their heart with her heart in under 30 seconds. She departed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends.

Born to Robert Simms Hill and Betty Jane Keitz Hill, she is survived by 3 brothers & a sister, Bob Hill, Terry Hill, Nick Hill, and Martha Hill Williamson.

She married the love of her life Bruce Sanders on October 13, 2001 at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Terrell. She raised 4 wonderful children, Debra Ragan Lenamond, Virgil Ragan, John Ragan, and Curtis (Nicholas) Ragan. These children have produced an amazing group of 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Her favorite activity was motorcycling. Her enthusiasm for riding led her to join the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America. She was recognized for her tireless efforts raising money for destitute children across the nation by a nomination to MOA Ambassador.

A truly wonderful and loving companion, she is mourned by 10's of thousands whose hearts she touched.

A graveside celebration of her love and life will be at 11:00am, Monday, March 22, 2021 (her birthday) at Oakland Memorial Park. In memory of her vibrant personality and her love of crazy socks, please wear bright colors and the most colorful socks! Immediately following, Afterward, head across Moore Ave. to Ben Gill Park Pavilion and grab a fork for a barbecue buffet & gathering where Miranda would want all to bring a story & a laugh!
