Robert James Booth, “Bob”, passed away unexpectedly from a massive heart attack on February 20, 2021. Bob was born on June 9th, 1967 in Lincoln, NE.

Growing up in Murray NE, Bob excelled at many sports, including wrestling, track, football, and baseball. He also consequently earned All-State defensive lineman in football before graduating from Conestoga High School in 1985. Bob honorably served his country in the US Army for 7 years as a Military Police Officer during Operation Desert Storm. Bob enjoyed grilling, gardening, and loved his family and dog Bentley to no end.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, David and Ilene Booth, brother Tom Booth, and nephew T.J. Booth.

Bob is survived by his wife Susan Vanderpool-Booth of Elliott Iowa, and her children Daniel (Jon) Vanderpool of Pensacola, FL, Tyler (Amanda) Vanderpool of Silver City, IA, Laura (Jeff) Jens of Griswold, IA, and Connell Vanderpool of Elliott, IA, brothers Dan Booth from Lytle TX, Bill Booth of Fremont NE, Jeff Booth of Dyersville IA, and daughter Jennifer (Carlos) Ramirez of Minot, ND. Previous wife and friend Leah Booth and their daughters Hannah (David) Kasper of El Dorado, KS, Brittany Hamilton of El Dorado, KS, and Bailey Booth of El Dorado, KS, as well as, 12 grandchildren and 9 nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

A celebration of life service will be held 10 AM Sunday, March 14, 2021, at the Elliott Community Building in Elliott, Iowa with a luncheon to follow. Military Honors will be rendered.
