Diane Lynn Knight (Behrendsen), age 55, born May 4th, 1965 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Richard and Marilyn Behrendsen, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 1st, 2021. She was raised in the Massillon/Tuslaw area and resided in Canal Fulton. Diane was the absolute best wife and mother any man could ask for. She always chose to be an example of what someone with a loving and caring heart was. Diane loved spending every moment with her 5 children and their friends, being involved in absolutely everything they did. She volunteered many hours in both the Northwest High School Band and Choir boosters in support of her children. She also pursued her passion alongside her husband, Tim, to serve in the Jr. and Sr. High Youth groups at Temple Baptist Church. In the last ten years, she enjoyed working at CAM Inc. and alongside her husband at AutoTEK Ohio as the bookkeeper. Whether it was a school or church function, you could always count on her to be there. Diagnosed nearly 20 years ago with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Diane was not going to let the cancer she continued to battle bring her down. Over the years, she had several chemotherapy treatments along with surgeries. While she spent many hours in bed at times, she always found enough energy to be there and show up for her children. Over the past few months, Diane unknowingly was battling a variety of health issues that led to her final hours. We, as a family, are very thankful that we were able to be at her side in her last moments. Survived by her husband of 32 years, Timothy E. Knight; children, Heather Knight, Heidi Papaleo (Ken), Holly Ramos (Rodrigo), Timothy (TJ) Knight, and Hannah Bello Flores (Elliott); siblings, Dave Behrendsen (Trudy), Ron Behrendsen (Helen), and Carol Murphy (Pat); mother-in-law, Karen Knight; sister-in-law, Diana Lawson; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by her father-in-law, Billy E. Knight. Calling hours will be Friday, March 5th from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m., with funeral services beginning at 1 p.m. All services will be located at Temple Baptist Church - 1212 Greensburg Rd., Uniontown, Ohio 44685, with Pastor Glenn Rogers Jr., officiating. Her burial will be at Canal Fulton Cemetery, surrounded by loved ones and friends. Diane's family is sincerely thankful for all the love, prayers, and support given over the years. As well as a big thank you going out to the LATCH unit staff at Aultman Hospital. Due to the ongoing pandemic, kindly remember masks or facial covering are to be worm and social distancing guidelines to be observed.
