OBITUARIES JOHN PRIOLEAU CROSS, S.C.-John Prioleau, 51, died Friday after a brief illness at the Medical University Hospital in Charleston, S.C. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Silas United Methodist Church in Eutawville with the Rev. R.W. President officiating. Pallbearers will be Issac Z. Johnson, Abraham Prioleau, Joe Frost Jr., Charles Prioleau, James Wigfall and Harry Lee Wigfall. Mr. Prioleau was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Mr. Issac Prioleau and Mrs. Lula Middleton Prioleau. In 1940 he became a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church of Harleyville. He later moved to New York City where he lived a number of years before returning to Cross. " Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Alice P. Wigfall of Cross; three brothers, Mr. Issac Prioleau of New York City, Mr. Willie Prioleau of Bronx, N.Y. and Mr. Richard Prioleau of Brentwood, N.J.; three uncles, Mr. Joe Frost of Holly Hill, Mr. Isiah Sumpter and Mr. Impive Gadson of Eutawville; three aunts, Mrs. Louise Frost, Mrs. Mable Gadson and Mrs. Elizabeth Harber; also nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the home of Mrs. Alice P. Wigfall or at the Shuler-Marshall Funeral Home of Holly Hill.
