Randall (Randy) Lee Wilson of Pasadena, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the age of 63. Randy enjoyed various hobbies throughout his life including fishing, flying and enjoying family time. Randy valued his family and especially enjoyed family time in East Texas with a good bonfire, music and stargazing. Randy was well-known for being a kind-hearted country gentleman who was passionately patriotic and loving towards his family.

Randy was born on July 2, 1957 in Jacksonville, Texas to Elbert and Carol Wilson. Randy was their first born followed by siblings Preston and Donna. He was raised in Pasadena and graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 1976.  He became a father in 1978 to his son Randall Heath Wilson. Randy met the love of his life, Robin, on a blind date in November of 1984 and were married February 14, 1986. Later that same year, Randy and Robin welcomed their daughter Shawna Kaye. The next year, they welcomed their second daughter, Kristen Nicole. A few years later they welcomed their third daughter, Ashley Lauren. He loved fatherhood and it suited him well. Showed his support to his kids by attending numerous sports games, musical concerts and dance recitals. Randy worked for the scrap metal recycling industry in the Houston area and retired from ELG Metals as a safety manager. He enjoyed his retirement by spending time with family and friends, pursuing his hobbies and being a proud husband, father and grandfather.

Randall Lee Wilson was preceded in death by his father, Elbert L. Wilson and brother Preston C. Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Robin Wilson and his four children, Randall Heath Wilson of The Woodlands, Texas and his wife Jacleen and children Justin and Jenna, Granddaughter Caitlyn Wilson, Shawna Wilson of Pasadena, Texas, Kristen Allington of Crosby, Texas and her husband John, and Ashley Holtsberg of Raeford, North Carolina and her husband Joshua and grandchildren Nicole and Matthew. Randy is also survived by his mother, Carol Wilson of Jacksonville, Texas, sister Donna Shadden of Ace, Texas and her husband John and their children Christina and John.

Pallbearers are Randall Heath Wilson, John Allington II, Joshua Holtsberg, John Shadden Jr, Nic Simmons, Zachry Simmons, Richard Simmons and Clifford Simmons.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Peevey Funeral Home. A family viewing will then be held Friday, March 12, 2021, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Autry Funeral Home in Tecula, Texas. A graveside service will follow at Tecula Cemetery. Flowers may be ordered through Musick’s Flower Shop in Jacksonville, Texas.
